Boots and Suits Logo 2024Hill College announces its 19th annual Boots & Suits event on April 18, 2024, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the James Event Center in Joshua, Texas. This annual event celebrates and supports access to higher education by raising scholarship funds for Hill College students.

“This event really checks all the boxes. It’s so much fun. It’s a great occasion to reconnect and catch up with supporters of our college and communities, and, most importantly, it results in scholarship funding that changes students’ lives for the better. Yvonne and I are really looking forward to seeing you again this year!” says Hill College President Dr. Thomas Mills.

Community support of Boots & Suits strengthens Hill College’s ability to lead students toward success. Each year, Hill College serves over 5,000 students who want to advance their education. Through the college’s four career pathways (Arts & Humanities, Business & Industry, Health & Public Service, and STEM), students can focus the direction of their education. Each pathway is geared toward guiding students in their area of interest, serving as a tool to help them better align their education with their desired careers and job training.

“We always look forward to this event. It brings our community together for the benefit of our students,” said Hill College Vice President of Institutional Affairs Jessyca Brown. “Without the generous support of our sponsors and guests, many students each year would miss out on the opportunity to receive the education and job training that further supports them, their families, and the community.”

Businesses, organizations, and individuals interested in sponsoring Boots & Suits have several partnership levels to choose from, including Presenting Partner for $7,000, providing three scholarships for students; Gold Partner for $5,000, providing two scholarships; Silver Partner for $3,000, providing one scholarship; Bronze Partner for $1,250; and Partner for $750. Each level includes a select number of tickets to the event. Individual tickets are also available for $75 per person.

In addition to providing scholarship funds, each sponsorship level offers benefits to sponsors, including special recognition before, during, and after the event.
